This thesis presented an animals-centered design method under the concept of smart city, characterizing the value proposition various species in the urban space. In terms of design principles applied to my extrapolations, fusing the different components of the urban system. It is here an attempt to craft a new urban mythology based on animalisation of the connected urban environment.

- Investigate a duality emerging in the relations between the city and the animals
- How the smart buildings system to consider different users beyond human beings.
- Explore the potential for urban spaces under biodiversity perspectives.
- Figure out potential profit of animals in smart city.
I chose Singapore as the experimental site because this city has superior species protection measures and a greenway network.
Collect more comprehensive species information by building a brand-new intelligent city network.

Design urban spaces with natural thinking, let nature portray its own appearance. The stereotypes that designers give to cities have been an anti-natural phenomenon for centuries, and species diversity has fallen sharply. Today, as the ecological environment becomes more and more important, it is time for animals to become part of the city. Maybe the city will become disordered, and what people should do is not to make the city neat and orderly, but to find a balance with nature in the irregular.
